The Voyager 1450g (wired) and 1452g (wireless) handheld scanners let buyers start with the 1D version and upgrade them later to scan PDF and 2D barcodes, while Honeywell still sold them. Honeywell said they let enterprises "embrace area-imaging at their own pace, and in the most cost-effective manner".
