Industrial printers for long shifts and large label rolls
Industrial label printers take 8-inch label rolls and long ribbons and run all day on shipping, product and compliance labels. Compare the current Zebra, TSC and Godex models below, or tell us your label and volume and we will suggest one.

For a production or dispatch line, start from your widest label, your daily volume and your smallest print; RFID jobs are listed too. Each names the models that suit it.
Shipping and carton labels on a busy dispatch line
4-inch labels at 203 dpi, printed all day. Look for speed and long ribbons.
Very small PCB and component labels for electronics manufacturing services (EMS)
For tiny labels and fine print, choose a model with a 600 dpi version; at 600 dpi the ZT610 prints labels as short as 3 mm in rewind or tear-off mode (Zebra's US tech specs).
To encode RFID labels while printing, choose a model with an RFID option: a UHF RFID encoder or kit on the Zebra and Honeywell models, RFID upgrade kits on the TSC MB241 Series, and an RFID read/write module as a project option on the Godex ZX1200i+ Series.
Figures are from each maker's own specification, as shown on the product pages. Open a model for the full specification, options, India notes and FAQ.
How to choose
Five questions that decide the printer
For 203, 300 or 600 dpi, ribbon winding and printer languages when replacing an old printer, see our barcode printer buying guide.
How wide is the label?
Most shipping, carton and product labels fit a 4-inch (104 mm) printer. For labels wider than that, look at the 6-inch class: the Zebra ZT421 and ZT620 (up to 168 mm).
How small is the text or barcode?
203 dpi suits shipping and carton labels. 300 dpi prints small text and small 2D codes more cleanly. For very small labels, the table shows which models offer 600 dpi (for example the Zebra ZT411 and ZT610, the TSC MH241 Series and the Godex ZX1200i+ Series).
How many labels a day, and how often can you change the ribbon?
Compare the speeds in the table; each product page lists its ribbon length, and a longer ribbon (450 m or 600 m) means fewer changes on a busy line; the product pages work out labels per hour and per ribbon for a 4 x 6 inch label.
Do you need RFID?
If you tag cartons or assets with UHF RFID, choose a model that offers an RFID encoder. The Zebra ZT231, ZT411, ZT421, ZT610 and ZT620 product pages list RFID options, and so do the Honeywell PM45 page (RFID kit), the TSC MB241 Series page (RFID upgrade kits) and the Godex ZX1200i+ Series page (RFID module as a project option); check the page for the exact kit.
How will it connect?
All the models above connect by Ethernet, USB and serial; some add Wi-Fi or Bluetooth options and USB host ports for a scanner or keyboard. Tell us your ERP, warehouse or labelling software and we will set the printer up with it.
The printer cards below include earlier models that their makers no longer sell; their pages stay for existing users, and the discontinued models guide names each replacement.

Questions buyers ask
Industrial label printer FAQ
What is the price of an industrial barcode printer in India?
It depends on the model, width, resolution, options and quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Industrial or desktop printer: which do I need?
Industrial printers have metal frames, take 8-inch label rolls and long ribbons, and suit all-day printing on dispatch and production lines. Desktop printers are smaller and take smaller rolls, which suits counters, offices and lower volumes. See our desktop printer range to compare.
Do you supply the labels and ribbons too?
Yes. Allmark supplies barcode labels and thermal transfer ribbons; tell us the printer, label size and material, and we will quote them with the printer.
Can Allmark set it up with our software?
Yes. Allmark provides on-site installation and training, and connects barcode printers to ERP, warehouse and billing software, including our own warehouse management system.
My printer is an older model. What replaces it?
Several printers listed above (for example the Zebra ZT410, ZT220, ZT230 and 220Xi4, and the TSC ME and MH 240 Series) are no longer sold by their makers, nor is the earlier Zebra ZT420. The discontinued models guide gives each maker's dates and named replacement.
Tell us the label, we will suggest the printer
Send the label size, material, daily volume and where the printer will work. We will quote the printer, labels, ribbons and setup.
