Why the ScanPal EDA10A
The ScanPal EDA10A is Honeywell's lightweight enterprise tablet: a 10.1-inch Full HD screen in a 674 g, 11.7 mm body, in Wi-Fi 6 models with a barcode imager option or a 5G model, and a battery you swap without shutting down.
The 10.1-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1200, 550 nits) sits under Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Honeywell lists glove, wet-hand and oily-hand touch modes, and a split-screen display mode for use on the display dock.
Choose the Honeywell S0703 slim imager, which reads 1D and 2D barcodes, including damaged ones, at standard range (0-1 m), or a model without an imager. Left and right scan keys sit on the sides, plus a scan touch key on the bottom edge.
The 8,000 mAh battery is removable and hot-swappable, so staff change it without shutting down. Honeywell states more than 12 hours of use, depending on usage, and 2.5 hours to charge with a QC/PD wall adapter.
Every EDA10A has Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax, 2×2 MU-MIMO, WPA3), Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC. The WWAN model adds 5G and 4G LTE plus dual-band GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou for drivers and field staff.
Sealed to IP65, rated for multiple 1.3 m drops to concrete (2.0 m with the protective boot) and for MIL-STD-810H vibration, which Honeywell cites for vehicle mounting. It works from -20 °C to 50 °C.
Honeywell's display dock adds three USB-A ports, HDMI and RJ45 Ethernet, so the tablet drives a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Allmark connects the EDA10A to your billing, warehouse or ERP software and sets it up at your site.

Yes, on the imager models. They carry Honeywell's S0703 slim imager, which reads 1D and 2D barcodes, including damaged ones, from 0 to 1 m, with left and right scan keys and a scan touch key. Honeywell also sells models without an imager for staff who only need the screen; the 16 MP camera still captures documents. Tell us what your staff scan and we quote the right model.
