Fewer rescans on poor labels
A 1280 × 1080 sensor reads codes with print contrast as low as 15% and tolerates hand movement up to 4 m/s on both the SR and HD models, so cashiers rescan less often.

Why the Xenon Ultra 1960
The Xenon Ultra 1960 is Honeywell's current corded general-duty scanner and the successor to the Xenon 1900g.
A 1280 × 1080 sensor reads codes with print contrast as low as 15% and tolerates hand movement up to 4 m/s on both the SR and HD models, so cashiers rescan less often.
A green-dot LED aimer (525 nm) and warm-white 2700 K illumination help the user target one code on a crowded label.
SR (standard range) suits everyday retail and label scanning: Honeywell rates it to read a 13 mil UPC from 0 to 654 mm and a 20 mil Code 39 up to 1,115 mm. HD (high density) is for small, dense codes on electronics parts or small medicine packs.
Sealed to IP52, tested to 2,000 tumbles at 0.5 m, repeated 1.8 m drops to concrete and a 3 m MIL-spec drop. It works from 0 °C to 50 °C.
Honeywell says the Ultra 1960 works with the cable from an existing Xenon XP 1950g installation, which keeps the upgrade simple when you replace scanners counter by counter.
Connects over USB, RS-232 or keyboard wedge. Allmark configures it for your billing, POS or ERP software and provides on-site installation and training.

For buyers in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the Xenon Ultra 1960. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
The Ultra 1960 reads QR codes, so a purchase desk can scan a GST e-invoice instead of typing it, if the billing or ERP software can decode the signed e-invoice QR.
When a bill carries more than one code, the Ultra 1960's green aimer dot shows the user which code they are pointing at.
The Ultra 1960 reads both 1D barcodes and QR codes, so it reads either code a medicine brand prints on its label. Choose the HD version if many of your packs are small strips with tiny codes.
Keep counters with the Ultra 1960 out of direct afternoon sun. Honeywell rates it to work from 0 °C to 50 °C.

Questions buyers ask
The Xenon Ultra 1960 price depends on the cable or accessories you need and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Honeywell lists the Xenon 1900g as discontinued and names the Xenon Ultra 1960 as its replacement, so new orders should be for the Ultra 1960. The Ultra 1960 has a 1280 × 1080 sensor, a green-dot aimer and IP52 sealing, and connects over the same USB, RS-232 and keyboard wedge interfaces. If you run many 1900g scanners, tell us the quantity and we will plan the change counter by counter.
Honeywell states that the Xenon Ultra 1960 works with the cable from an existing Xenon XP 1950g installation. If your counters still use Xenon 1900g cables, share the cable part number or a photo of the connector when you ask for a quote, and we will confirm whether it fits or which cable to order.
The SR (standard range) version suits most retail billing, warehouse labels and documents, reading a 13 mil UPC barcode from 0 to 654 mm away (Honeywell's figure). The HD (high density) version is for very small, dense codes, such as those on electronic components, jewellery tags or small medicine packs. If you are unsure, send us a photo of your smallest label and we will recommend one.
Yes, in most cases. The Ultra 1960 connects as a USB keyboard, over RS-232 serial or as a keyboard wedge, so it types the scanned data into the field the cursor is in. Allmark configures scanners for billing, POS, ERP and our own warehouse management system, and provides on-site installation and training.
Yes. The Xenon Ultra 1962 is the cordless model, with Bluetooth 4.2 and up to 100 m line of sight from its base. Honeywell offers it with a 3,300 mAh lithium-ion battery or a battery-free supercapacitor that charges fully in under 60 seconds with a power adapter. It suits counters where the cable gets in the way of large or heavy items.
Yes. Honeywell's datasheet includes QR codes in the Ultra 1960's decode-range table, alongside 1D barcodes and Data Matrix. That covers the QR code on GST e-invoices and the barcode or QR code on medicine labels. Whether the scanned data lands in the right fields depends on your billing or ERP software, so tell us which software you use.
Yes. We install the Xenon Ultra 1960 at your site, set it to send data the way your ERP, warehouse or billing software expects (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
Send what you scan, where you scan it and the software it feeds; we reply with a written quotation.
