Why the ET60 / ET65
One rugged Android tablet for the warehouse floor, the forklift and the yard
The ET60 and ET65 are Zebra's 10.1-inch rugged Android tablets in the ET6x Series. Use one as a handheld tablet, snap on Zebra's keyboard for a 2-in-1 laptop, or lock it into Zebra's vehicle dock on a forklift. The ET60 is Wi-Fi only and is the model Zebra offers for freezers; the ET65 adds 5G and GPS for work outdoors.
Tablet, laptop or vehicle computer
Carry it as a tablet, add Zebra's friction-hinge 2-in-1 keyboard for heavy data entry, or lock it into Zebra's vehicle dock, which has two USB Type A ports and one RS-232 port for scanners and printers. One device covers all three jobs.
A screen you can read in sun and in a dim plant
The 10.1-inch 1920 × 1200 display gives 1,000 nits, is optically bonded under Corning Gorilla Glass and takes bare fingers, gloves or a conductive stylus, with water droplet rejection.
A freezer configuration for cold stores (ET60)
Zebra offers the ET60 with a heated touch screen rated for 5% to 95% condensing humidity. In the vehicle dock the touch panel and Zebra's warehouse keyboard are heated, so the screen stays clear when forklifts move in and out of the freezer.
Power for a full shift, or straight from the forklift
Zebra rates the 8,920 mAh battery at 10 hours and the 17,840 mAh battery at 20 hours indoors (Wi-Fi on, 50% backlight). Batteries hot-swap without shutting down, and on a vehicle the tablet can run from the vehicle's power with no battery at all.
Scan with the camera, or across the aisle
The 16 MP rear camera reads 1D and 2D barcodes for occasional scanning. For heavy scanning, choose the optional SE55 Advanced Range engine, which Zebra rates from near contact up to 12 m.
Sealed and drop-tested
IP66 per IEC 60529 and 1.5 m drops to concrete, exceeding MIL-STD-810H. Zebra also tests it for vibration, thermal shock, salt fog and solar radiation, and lists Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location certification.
Wi-Fi 6E indoors, 5G outside (ET65)
Both models have Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The ET65 adds 5G data with one nano SIM and one eSIM, private 5G network support and GPS for ports, yards and field technicians.
Used in
Warehouse and distribution (loading and unloading, cross docking, picking, cold storage)
Manufacturing (plant floor management, maintenance and repair, quality assurance, mobile HMI)
Yards and ports (yard management, inventory management; ET65)
Field service (routing and dispatch, mobile work orders, proof of service, meter reading)
Public safety (incident and patient care reporting, routing and dispatch, in-vehicle inventory)
For buyers in India
Using the ET60 / ET65 in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the ET60 / ET65. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
Confirm the ET65's 5G bands for your SIM before you order
Zebra publishes one worldwide band list for the ET65 and no India list, and notes that band support varies by country and carrier. Tell us which operator your SIMs use, and we confirm the bands of the ET65 we quote.
Ask for Zebra OneCare if you want Android updates
Zebra says a OneCare service plan is needed for operating system updates and security patches. Zebra lists Android 13, 14 and 15 as available and Android 16 as the final version; we add OneCare to the quotation when you ask.
Pick the battery for the temperature you work in
Zebra rates the ET60/ET65 from -20 °C to 55 °C with the standard battery and from -30 °C to 55 °C with the extended battery. Tell us if tablets go into cold rooms or stay in forklift cabs, and we quote the battery and dock to match.

ET60 or ET65: which one do we need?
The ET60 is Wi-Fi only, for tablets that stay inside your warehouse or plant on Wi-Fi 6E, and it is the model Zebra offers in a freezer configuration. The ET65 adds 5G data with one nano SIM and one eSIM, plus GPS, for yards, ports and field technicians. Both share the screen, processor, batteries and accessories.
Can the ET60 work in a cold store or freezer?
Yes, in Zebra's freezer configuration of the ET60: it has a heated touch screen and is rated for 5% to 95% condensing humidity. With the extended battery Zebra rates it down to -30 °C. In the vehicle dock the touch panel and Zebra's warehouse keyboard are heated, so the screen stays clear of condensation. We confirm the freezer configuration for India in the quotation.
Can we mount it on a forklift?
Yes. Zebra's vehicle dock locks the tablet in place, charges it and adds two USB Type A ports and one RS-232 port. A DC/DC power supply connects the dock to the vehicle, and no-battery configurations run from the vehicle's power. Tell us the vehicle voltage and whether you need the warehouse keyboard, and we quote the full kit.
How long will the ET60/ET65 get Android updates?
Zebra lists Android 13, 14 and 15 as available and Android 16 as the final supported version. Zebra says updates and security patches need a Zebra OneCare plan, and that the ET60/ET65 stays on sale for four years from release with service for four more years.
Do we need a separate barcode scanner?
Not always. The 16 MP rear camera reads 1D and 2D barcodes for occasional scanning, and the optional SE55 engine reads from near contact up to 12 m for heavy use. Zebra also lists SSI support over USB and Bluetooth for its DS36XX and LI36XX handheld scanners and its RS5100 and RS6100 wearable scanners.
Can Allmark install the ET60 / ET65 and connect it to our software?
Yes. We install the ET60 / ET65 at your site, connect it to your ERP, warehouse or billing software (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
