Why the TC22 / TC27
The TC22 and TC27 are Zebra's TC2 Series touch mobile computers. They look and work like a smartphone, so staff learn them quickly, but they add a dedicated scan engine, a removable battery and a body built for drops and water. Zebra lists the TC22 as replacing the TC21 and the TC27 as replacing the TC26.
Choose the TC22 for staff who stay on your Wi-Fi 6E network, or the TC27 for couriers and field staff who need 5G, with one nano SIM and one eSIM. Both use the same accessories, screen and scanner options.
The SE4710 suits counters and shelves. The SE55 with IntelliFocus reads a 13 mil UPC from 6.4 cm to 180.3 cm and a 100 mil Code 39 rack label up to 14 m away, in Zebra's reference guide figures.
A 6-inch Full HD+ display (1080 × 2160, 450 nits) under Corning Gorilla Glass works with bare or lightly gloved fingers, so there is little to teach.
The battery is removable: 3,800 mAh standard or 5,200 mAh extended, both with PowerPrecision battery health readings. A BLE battery keeps sending a locating signal for up to seven days after the device runs flat.
Zebra seals the TC22/TC27 to IP65 and IP68 and rates them for repeated 1.3 m drops to tile over concrete, or 1.5 m to concrete in the protective boot, plus 500 tumbles.
Zebra's RFD40 and RFD90 UHF RFID sleds attach for stock counts, and Zebra pairs the TC22/TC27 with its ZQ300 Plus mobile printers for labels and receipts on the move.

For buyers in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the TC22 / TC27. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
Zebra publishes North America, Rest of World and China/Japan band lists and no India list. Tell us which operator your SIMs use, and we confirm the bands of the TC27 we quote.
Zebra says a Zebra OneCare plan is needed to receive Android updates and security patches. Zebra lists Android 13, 14 and 15 as available and Android 16 as the final version; we add OneCare to the quotation when you ask.
QR Code and Data Matrix are on by default in Zebra's scanner settings, so the same device reads product barcodes and the QR code on GST e-invoices at goods inward.
Keep chargers indoors and out of direct sun: Zebra rates battery charging from 5 °C to 40 °C, and the device itself works from -10 °C to 50 °C.

Questions buyers ask
The TC22 / TC27 price depends on the accessories (cradles, spare batteries) and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
The TC22 is Wi-Fi only, for staff who stay inside your store, warehouse or office on Wi-Fi 6E. The TC27 adds 5G with one nano SIM and one eSIM, for couriers, delivery and field staff. Both share the screen, scanner options, batteries and cradles, so a mixed fleet uses one set of accessories.
Choose the SE4710 for counters, shelves and parcels within arm's reach. Choose the SE55 if staff also scan rack labels or high shelves: Zebra's reference guide rates it to read a 13 mil UPC up to 180.3 cm and a 100 mil Code 39 label up to 1,407 cm. Camera-only versions exist, but Zebra recommends a scan engine for 100 or more scans a day.
Zebra lists Android 13, 14 and 15 as available and Android 16 as the final supported version. Zebra says updates and security patches need a Zebra OneCare plan, and that six years of LifeGuard and OneCare support run from the date the product was first sold. If you need a longer path, compare the TC53e, whose final version Zebra lists as Android 18.
Partly. Zebra sells replacement cups that let existing TC21/TC26 ShareCradle bases charge the TC22/TC27. Zebra does not list TC21/TC26 batteries as compatible, so plan new batteries. Tell us which cradles you have, and we quote the cups instead of new cradles where they fit.
Zebra's DataWedge, preloaded at no cost, sends each scan into the app on screen as keystrokes, so an app that accepts typed input can take scans without programming. Tell us your software; software and ERP integration is part of our work, and we set the device up for it.
Yes. We install the TC22 / TC27 at your site, connect it to your ERP, warehouse or billing software (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
Send the work, the apps your team uses and how many devices you need; we reply with a written quotation.
