Why the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W)
A rugged 10.1-inch tablet that runs your Windows software
The RT10W is the Windows version of Honeywell's RT10 rugged tablet. It shares the RT10A's body, screen, imagers, batteries and docks, and runs Windows on an Intel processor.
Windows that stays the same for years
Honeywell runs the RT10W on Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, a Windows edition for fixed-purpose devices whose features must stay constant over a long device life. It has an Intel Pentium N4200 (1.10 GHz, up to 2.50 GHz), 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and TPM 2.0.
Scan from under 0.1 m to 10.7 m
The RT10W takes either Honeywell's N6703 standard-range imager or the FlexRange dual-lens imager with autofocus. Honeywell rates the FlexRange from less than 0.1 m (5 in) to 10.7 m (35 ft), so a rack label across the aisle scans straight into your Windows application.
Plug in a monitor and keyboard
A micro HDMI port is built in. Honeywell's Office Communications Dock adds VGA (RT10W only), Ethernet, RS-232 and four USB ports, and the Display Dock adds HDMI, so the tablet works as a desktop at the supervisor's table.
Swap the battery while Windows keeps running
A built-in bridge battery keeps the RT10W running for up to 5 minutes while the main battery is changed. Honeywell rates the 5,900 mAh standard battery at 12 hours and the 10,280 mAh extended battery at 18 hours.
Indoors, outdoors and on drops
Honeywell builds the RT10W for indoor and outdoor use: IP65 against dust and water, 1.2 m (4 ft) drops to MIL-STD-810G, -10 °C to 50 °C on battery power and -20 °C to 40 °C on AC power.
On a forklift or in the hand
Honeywell's vehicle docks and cradles take 9-36 V or 10-60 V vehicle supplies and fit 75 mm VESA and RAM mounts; hand and shoulder straps are optional. We connect the RT10W to your WMS, ERP or Windows software and set it up at your site.

For buyers in India
Using the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W) in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W). Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
Tell us your SIM operator before you order the 4G model
Only the WWAN model (RT10WL10) takes a micro SIM; the RT10WL00 has no WWAN radio. Honeywell labels the radio ATT/VZW/NA/EU and publishes no India band list, so we confirm the LTE bands of the unit we quote against your operator.
Rated to 50 °C on battery, 40 °C on AC power
Keep charging and desk-docked tablets out of direct sun. Honeywell rates the RT10W from -10 °C to 50 °C on battery power and from -20 °C to 40 °C on AC power.
Charge the bridge battery every two months
Charge tablets kept in store at least every two months: Honeywell asks for the built-in bridge battery to be charged that often, to keep it healthy for battery swaps.
Buy industrial-grade microSD cards
Use SLC industrial-grade microSD or microSDXC cards, which Honeywell recommends for RT10 tablets.

Exploring for a different use?
If your job differs from what the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W) is built for, these Honeywell models may fit it better:
Buyers who run Android apps or need NFC often look at the
Honeywell RT10 Rugged Tablet - Android (RT10A) (same body, screen, batteries and docks; Android on Honeywell Mobility Edge, Snapdragon octa-core, NFC).
Buyers who want a pocket-size handheld instead of a 10-inch tablet often look at the
Honeywell CT32 (6-inch Android 14 handheld, 269 g, IP65/IP68).
What is the price of the Honeywell RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W) in India?

RT10W or RT10A: which one do we need?
Both share the 10.1-inch screen, the N6703 or FlexRange imager, IP65 sealing, batteries and docks. Choose the RT10W to run Windows software: it has Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, an Intel Pentium N4200, TPM 2.0 and a micro HDMI port. Choose the RT10A if your apps run on Android or you need NFC.
Which Windows does the RT10W run?
Honeywell's product page says Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021, an edition for fixed-purpose devices whose features stay constant over the device's life. Honeywell's 2021 datasheet says Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. Tell us the software you run, and we confirm the Windows edition on the units we quote.
Can we use it with a monitor and keyboard?
Yes. The micro HDMI port drives a monitor directly. Honeywell's Office Communications Dock adds VGA (RT10W only), Ethernet, RS-232 and USB for a keyboard and mouse, and the Display Dock adds HDMI, Ethernet and four USB ports. Both charge the tablet while it sits in the dock.
N6703 or FlexRange imager?
Pick the N6703 when every barcode is within arm's reach: goods inward, line-side kitting, shelf checks. Pick the FlexRange (less than 0.1 m to 10.7 m, 35 ft) when operators scan high rack labels from a forklift or the floor. Send us your label sizes and scan distances, and we recommend the imager for your RT10W.
Can we mount the RT10W on a forklift?
Yes. The RT10W fits the same Honeywell RT10 Vehicle Dock and Vehicle Cradle as the Android model: 9-36 V supply, or 10-60 V for the Enhanced versions, on a 75 mm VESA mount, with Honeywell RAM mount kits for forklift pipes. Send us the forklift model and its supply voltage, and we quote the dock and mount.
Can staff change the battery mid-shift?
Yes. A built-in bridge battery runs the RT10W for up to 5 minutes while the main battery is out; check its level in Honeywell's Hottab utility first. Honeywell rates the standard battery at 12 hours and the extended one at 18 hours, and the 2-Bay Battery Charger charges two spares at once.
Can Allmark install the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W) and connect it to our software?
Yes. We install the RT10 Rugged Tablet - Windows (RT10W) at your site, connect it to your ERP, warehouse or billing software (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
