Newland MT67 Android mobile computer with keypad and built-in barcode scanner

Why the MT67

Physical keys for fast data entry

The MT67 is Newland's Android handheld with a full keypad under a 4-inch touch screen. Newland lists it in its keyboard range for logistics, warehouse and manufacturing work, where staff type quantities and codes as often as they scan.

Keys plus touch

24 backlit keys, side keys included, plus three on-screen keys sit below a 4-inch 800 × 480 capacitive screen with Corning Gorilla glass. Numbers and bin codes can be keyed without looking at an on-screen keyboard.

Megapixel scan engine

A 2D megapixel imager with a laser aimer reads 1D and 2D codes, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417 and DotCode. A 13 mil EAN-13 reads from 60 mm to 420 mm and a 20 mil Code 39 out to 600 mm.

Hot-swap battery

The 3.8 V, 4,800 mAh battery can be swapped without shutting down. Charging over USB-C runs at up to 15 W and fills the battery in under 3 hours. A 4-slot battery cradle is offered.

Built for the floor

IP65 sealing as standard with IP67 as an option, and 1.5 m drops to concrete on each of six sides. It works from -20 °C to 55 °C, and Newland says it can be used in pouring water and with gloves.

Connected on site and on the road

4G with two nano-SIM slots (or one SIM and a microSD card), dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi with fast roaming, Bluetooth 5.0 with BLE, GPS and GLONASS, and 13.56 MHz NFC.

Android 15 for your apps

A 2.0 GHz octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, expandable by microSD up to 128 GB.

Used in

  • Warehousing and 3PL
  • FMCG distribution and van sales
  • Manufacturing stores and work-in-progress
  • Logistics and courier hubs
  • Pharmaceutical distribution
  • Inventory and stock audits

For buyers in India

Using the MT67 in India

These are the points buyers in India ask us about the MT67. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.

MT67 covers Jio, Airtel and Vi 4G bands

The MT67 should work on the 4G networks of Jio, Airtel and Vi; confirm the India model's bands before ordering. Newland's band list for the MT67 is FDD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28, and TD-LTE 34, 38, 39, 40 and 41. Jio's 4G runs on bands 3, 5 and 40. Airtel's runs on 1, 3, 8 and 40, with 5 in some circles. Vi's runs on 1, 3, 8 and 41, with 40 in some circles. Every one of those is on Newland's list. Newland lists no 5G radio and does not list VoLTE.

Type the 12-digit e-way bill number on keys

If an e-way bill label is torn or its code will not read, staff can type the 12-digit number on the MT67's 24-key keypad. They press physical keys instead of using an on-screen keyboard. Each e-way bill carries a 12-digit number and a QR code that officers scan to verify it. The MT67 reads QR Code, PDF417, Data Matrix, Code 128 and GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128). It reads a 15 mil QR from 40 mm to 230 mm.

Ask for the IP67 version for monsoon yards

Ask about the IP67 version of the MT67 if devices may be dropped in puddles or used in open yards during the monsoon. Standard units are IP65, protected against water jets; the optional IP67 version survives 1 m of water for 30 minutes. The MT67 works up to 55 °C, stores from -30 °C to 70 °C and is rated for 5-95% humidity, non-condensing, so after a cold store let it warm up before use in humid coastal air.

Plan MT67 shifts on your own battery trial

Plan MT67 shift lengths on your own trial, because Newland publishes no runtime. The battery stores 3.8 V × 4,800 mAh = 18.24 Wh, the figure Newland prints for its NLS-BTY69 spare battery. Hot-swap lets a worker change batteries without closing apps. The adapter takes 100-240 V AC at 50-60 Hz. That covers India's 230 V and 240 V mains. Newland lists an India-plug version (AD18-U-I).

Exploring for a different use?

If your job differs from what the MT67 is built for, these Newland models may fit it better:

  • Buyers who work mostly in apps, photos and forms on a larger touch screen, often look at the Newland MT93 (5.5-inch, 720 × 1440, Wi-Fi 6).
  • Buyers who need 5G often look at the Newland MT95 (5G and 4G, 6-inch touch screen, IP67).

Questions buyers ask

MT67 FAQ

What is the price of the Newland MT67 in India?

The MT67 price depends on the accessories (cradles, spare batteries) and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.

MT67 or MT93?

Choose the MT67 if staff key in quantities, bin numbers or codes all day: it has 24 physical keys under a 4-inch screen, runs Android 15 and weighs 250 g. Choose the MT93 if your app needs screen space: it has a 5.5-inch 1440 × 720 touch screen with no keypad, Android 13, a 5,000 mAh battery and IP67 as standard, at 277 g. Both have 4 GB RAM and 4G; the MT67 has 64 GB storage and the MT93 128 GB.

MT90 or MT67?

The MT90 is a 5-inch touch handheld on Android 11 with 10 keys and a 4,500 mAh battery. The MT67 runs Android 15, has a 24-key keypad under a 4-inch screen and a hot-swap 4,800 mAh battery. Choose the MT90 or the MT93 (5.5-inch touch screen, Android 13) for touch work; choose the MT67 for physical keys and a newer Android version.

Can staff make voice calls on a Jio SIM?

Newland does not list VoLTE for the MT67, and Jio runs its voice calls over VoLTE. For 4G data the MT67 should work on Jio, Airtel and Vi, because Newland's band list includes the 4G bands all three use. If drivers or pickers must phone customers on a Jio SIM, confirm VoLTE support and the India model's bands before ordering.

Can we swap batteries during a shift?

Yes. The 4,800 mAh battery is hot-swap, so a worker can fit a charged spare without shutting the device down. Newland offers a single-slot cradle that charges the device and one spare battery, a 4-slot battery cradle and the NLS-BTY69 spare battery. Charging over USB-C runs at up to 15 W and fills an empty battery in under 3 hours.

Can it be used in rain, with gloves and after drops?

Newland rates the MT67 IP65 as standard and offers an IP67 version, tests it for 1.5 m drops to concrete on all six sides and states it can be used in pouring water and with gloves. It works from -20 °C to 55 °C. The physical keys help gloved hands, and a rubber boot and hand strap are sold as accessories.

Is a pistol grip available?

Yes. Newland's NLS-PG6750-01 pistol grip trigger clips onto the MT67 for long scanning sessions, letting staff aim and scan with one hand. Ask for it in the same quotation as the handhelds, along with cradles and spare batteries.

Can Allmark install the MT67 and connect it to our software?

Yes. We install the MT67 at your site, connect it to your ERP, warehouse or billing software (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
