Why the MT95
Newland now sells the MT95 as its Android 15 generation, listed on Newland's India and Asia site, with a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, a 6-inch screen and a hot-swap 5,100 mAh battery. This page describes that current MT95; the earlier model, sold as the 'MT95 Kambur Pro', ran Android 11 with 128 GB storage and a 6,000 mAh battery.
5G and 4G LTE with two nano-SIM slots and a TF (microSD) slot for cards up to 2 TB; the India card below lists the bands. Newland also lists ViLTE video calling.
The built-in 2D engine reads a 13 mil EAN-13 from 70 to 600 mm and a 15 mil QR code from 55 to 400 mm. Newland's Acuscan, listed for the MT95, reads only the code at the centre of the laser aimer when labels sit close together.
The 3.87 V, 5,100 mAh battery (19.74 Wh) supports hot swap, so a worker can fit a charged spare during a shift. It charges at up to 18 W over USB-C, and a 4-slot battery cradle charges spares.
IP67 sealing, 1.5 m drops to concrete on each of six sides and operation from -20 °C to 50 °C. The 6-inch, 450-nit multi-touch screen has a tempered glass cover.
Android 15 on a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS with GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo, and NFC for ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693, MIFARE and FeliCa tags.
Newland publishes an Android API handbook and a symbology configuration handbook for its handhelds. Allmark can connect the MT95 to your WMS, ERP or delivery software and set it up on site.

For buyers in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the MT95. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
The MT95 covers the 4G and 5G bands of Jio, Airtel and Vi; confirm the bands of the version we quote before ordering. Newland lists 4G FDD bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28 and TDD bands 34, 38, 39, 40, 41 and 43. Jio runs 4G on bands 3, 5 and 40, Airtel on 1, 3, 8 and 40 (5 in some circles) and Vi on 1, 3, 8, 40 and 41. For 5G, Jio uses n28 and n78, and Airtel and Vi use n78; the MT95 lists both. It lists no mmWave band (n258).
The MT95 reads the QR codes on e-way bills and GST e-invoices and passes the decoded text to your app. Checking the IRN signature or taking a UPI payment is a software step. The MT95's list includes QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Code 128 and GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128), and a 15 mil QR reads from 55 to 400 mm.
Monsoon rain is within the MT95's rating: IP67 means protection against immersion in 1 m of water for 30 minutes. It works up to 50 °C, is stored from -30 °C to 60 °C and is rated for 5-95% humidity, non-condensing, so let it warm up after an air-conditioned van or cold store. Newland gives no charging temperature range.
For India, Newland's MT95 accessory guide lists an India-plug adaptor, AD18-U-I (9 V, 2 A), for the handheld and the single-slot cradle. The MT95 charges over USB-C. 9 V × 2 A = 18 W, the MT95's fast-charging rate. For the 4-slot battery cradle, Newland lists the AD60-D-M multi-plug adaptor, with an Indian plug. The battery stores 3.87 V × 5,100 mAh = 19.74 Wh, as Newland rates it.

Questions buyers ask
The MT95 price depends on the accessories (cradles, spare batteries) and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Newland's current MT95: the Android 15 generation listed on Newland's India and Asia site, with a 2.4 GHz processor, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, a 6-inch 720 × 1440 screen, Wi-Fi 6 and a hot-swap 5,100 mAh battery. The earlier model, sold as the 'MT95 Kambur Pro', ran Android 11 with 128 GB storage, a 6.1-inch 720 × 1560 screen and a 6,000 mAh battery.
Choose the MT95 if you need 5G, a 6-inch screen, Android 15, 6 GB RAM or hot-swap batteries; it weighs 314 g. The MT93 is the lighter 4G option at 277 g, with a 5.5-inch screen, Android 13, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage in its India version, and a removable 5,000 mAh battery. Both have Wi-Fi 6, NFC, IP67 sealing and 1.5 m drop ratings.
Its band list covers them. Newland lists 5G n28 and n78, which are the bands Jio (n28 and n78), Airtel (n78) and Vi (n78) use, and every 4G band the three operators run. It has no mmWave (n258) band. Newland does not state VoLTE for the MT95, only ViLTE video calling, so if staff will make voice calls on a Jio SIM, confirm VoLTE on the version we quote.
Yes. Newland lists hot-swap support for the 3.87 V, 5,100 mAh battery, so a worker can change to a charged spare during a shift. Newland does not publish a runtime in hours for the MT95. Spare batteries charge in the 4-slot battery cradle, and the handheld itself charges at up to 18 W over USB-C or in the single-slot cradle.
Newland's India and Asia site lists Android 15 for the current MT95 but does not state GMS. The earlier model, sold as the MT95 Kambur Pro, came with Android 11 GMS. If your apps come from Google Play or use Google services, ask us to confirm GMS on the version we quote.
Yes. We install the MT95 at your site, connect it to your ERP, warehouse or billing software (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
