Why the LI3678-SR
The LI3678-SR is the cordless, standard-range model of Zebra's LI3600 ultra-rugged linear imagers. It reads 1D barcodes at arm's length on pick lists and cartons, and it links to its cradle or a Bluetooth host. For rack labels several metres away, look at the LI3678-ER; for a fixed station or freezers below -20 °C, the corded LI3608-SR; for QR or Data Matrix codes, the DS3678-SR.
Zebra's spec sheet gives 140,000+ scans per full charge from the PowerPrecision+ 3,100 mAh battery, and its reference guide gives up to 140,000. A charge gauge on the scanner shows what is left.
Zebra's spec sheet lists a 13 mil UPC from 2.5 cm to 78.7 cm and a 4 mil Code 39 from 10.2 cm to 25.4 cm, and rates it to read labels under heavy shrinkwrap, or damaged, dirty or poorly printed.
Bluetooth Class 1 reaches at least 100 m line of sight in open air. In Out of Range Batch Mode the scanner stores scans while out of range and sends them when it reconnects; Virtual Tether alerts when the scanner goes beyond range or stays out of its cradle for a set time. Batch mode does not apply in SPP peripheral mode.
Zebra rates the scanner for multiple 3.0 m drops to concrete at room temperature, multiple 2.4 m drops from -20 °C to 50 °C, 7,500 tumbles at 1.0 m and IP65 and IP68 sealing. The FLB3678 cradle is sealed to IP65 and its charging contacts are rated for 250,000+ insertions.
With AutoConfig the settings live in the cradle, so a scanner paired to a different cradle takes that host's settings without re-programming. Allmark sets up the cradles and connects them to your billing, ERP or warehouse software.

Zebra's 3600 Series accessory guide lists BTRY-36IAB0E-00K as the spare battery for the DS3678 and LI3678 sold in India and Korea only, and its LI36X8 reference guide lists India and Korea configurations of the LI3678. We confirm availability and the codes in the quotation.
A full charge takes up to three hours on external power and up to ten hours on USB power, at 0 °C to 40 °C (5 °C to 35 °C ideal). For back-to-back shifts, ask for the cradle's 12 V supply or a four-slot spare battery charger and spare batteries.
Zebra rates the cordless LI3678-SR from -20 °C to 50 °C and the corded LI3608-SR from -30 °C. At a freezer door, a heated scanner holder - Zebra's recommendation - cuts condensation on the window.

More detail
Standard-range 1D scanning for warehouse and plant floors.
The LI3678-SR (cordless) and LI3608-SR (corded) are Zebra's standard-range linear imagers for warehouse and manufacturing plant floor workers. Zebra's spec sheet rates them to read 1D barcodes shown on a screen or printed on a label, even under heavy shrinkwrap or damaged, dirty or poorly printed, and calls them "ideal for first-time accurate capture of barcodes in pick lists".
The Zebra LI3678 SR 1D Scanner is used for: barcodes in pick lists; 1D codes on labels or screens; shrink-wrapped, damaged or poorly printed labels; warehouse and plant-floor scanning; forklift and shipping work; and indoor, outdoor and freezer use.

Questions buyers ask
The LI3678-SR price depends on the cable or accessories you need and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Zebra's spec sheet gives 140,000+ scans per full charge from the PowerPrecision+ 3,100 mAh battery (its reference guide says up to 140,000). A full charge takes up to three hours on external power or up to ten hours on USB power, so plan a 12 V supply or spare batteries for back-to-back shifts.
Both are cordless Zebra 3600 Series scanners on the same rugged body. The LI3678-SR is a 1D linear imager and gives more scans per charge (140,000+ against 100,000+). The DS3678-SR is an area imager that also reads QR, Data Matrix and other 2D codes. Choose the DS3678-SR if any of your labels carry 2D codes.
With Out of Range Batch Mode switched on, the scanner stores scans while out of range and sends them when it reconnects; Zebra gives 9,000 bytes of memory for stored codes. Bluetooth Class 1 reaches at least 100 m line of sight in open air.
Both charge the scanner and connect it to the host over Bluetooth, with USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge or IBM 468X/469X on the host side. The FLB3678 is sealed to IP65 and has its own mounting plate, so we suggest it for dusty or wet areas and mounted use; the STB3678 suits a desk or bench.
Zebra names the LI3678 as the replacement for the LS3578-ER: the LI3678-SR for arm's-length labels and the LI3678-ER for rack labels. Zebra's reference guide says LS3578 cables do not fit the new scanners, so plan new cradles and cables for each station.
Yes. We install the LI3678-SR at your site, set it to send data the way your ERP, warehouse or billing software expects (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
