Why the TE210
The TE210 is the 203 dpi model of TSC's TE200 Series; the TE310 is the same printer at 300 dpi. TSC places the TE210 and TE310 above the entry TE200 and TE300: they add Ethernet, RS-232 and USB host, more memory and a real-time clock. TSC India names the TE200 Series as the replacement for the TTP-244 Pro.
Print thermal transfer with a ribbon for labels that must last, or direct thermal without one for shipping and short-life labels. TSC lists continuous, die-cut, black-mark, fan-fold and notched media, 20 to 112 mm wide.
USB 2.0, Ethernet 10/100, RS-232 and a USB host for a scanner or PC keyboard are standard. TSC offers Bluetooth 5.0 or Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Bluetooth 5.0 as dealer options, and MFi Bluetooth 5.0 as a factory option.
It takes 300 m ribbons on a 1-inch core or 110 m ribbons on a 0.5-inch core, 40 to 110 mm wide. Longer ribbons mean fewer changes on a busy desk.
Formats written in EPL, ZPL, ZPL II or DPL for many existing desktop printers usually run on the TE210 unchanged, because TSC's TSPL-EZD firmware is compatible with those languages. Print one test label before a rollout.
128 MB Flash and 64 MB SDRAM hold fonts, graphics and stored formats, and the real-time clock prints dates and times without a PC.
TSC offers a guillotine cutter (full cut and partial cut) and a peel-off module as dealer options, plus an external mount for 214 mm (8.4 in) rolls.

The TE210 prints up to 108 mm wide on media up to 112 mm wide, so a 4 × 6 inch (101.6 × 152.4 mm) courier label fits. At 152.4 mm/s (6 ips) one such label takes about 1 s. Use direct thermal labels for courier dispatch and keep the ribbon for product labels.
TSC rates the TE210 to run from 5 °C to 40 °C at 25-85% humidity, non-condensing. Keep it out of direct sun and hot, unventilated stockrooms.
The TE210 runs from an external supply rated AC 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz, giving DC 24 V, 2.5 A (60 W). On a site with frequent cuts or voltage swings, plug it into a UPS or stabiliser.

They are the same printer at two resolutions. The TE210 prints at 203 dpi, up to 152.4 mm/s (6 ips) and up to 108 mm wide. The TE310 prints at 300 dpi, up to 127 mm/s (5 ips) and up to 105.7 mm wide. Choose the TE310 for small text and small QR or Data Matrix codes; choose the TE210 for shipping, shelf and warehouse labels.
Yes. TSC India lists the last sale of the TTP-244 Pro on 31 December 2026, with support to 31 December 2031, and names the TE200 Series as its replacement. The TE210 is the 203 dpi model of that series with Ethernet, RS-232 and USB host built in. Send us a label your TTP-244 Pro prints today when you ask for a quote.
The TE210 prints with a ribbon (thermal transfer) or without one (direct thermal). Direct thermal suits shipping and short-life labels; for labels that must last, ask for thermal transfer and we quote the ribbon with it. The DA210 prints direct thermal only and connects over USB, with Bluetooth as an option.
