Why the TE310

Sharper 300 dpi labels, with or without a ribbon

The TE310 is the 300 dpi model of TSC's TE200 Series; the TE210 is the same printer at 203 dpi. TSC places the TE210 and TE310 above the entry TE200 and TE300: they add Ethernet, RS-232 and USB host, more memory and a real-time clock. TSC India names the TE200 Series as the replacement for the TTP-244 Pro.

300 dpi for small print

The TE310 prints at 12 dots/mm, so small text, small QR and Data Matrix codes and fine graphics come out sharper than at 203 dpi. It prints up to 105.7 mm wide at up to 127 mm/s (5 ips).

Two print methods in one printer

Use a ribbon (thermal transfer) for labels that must last, or print direct thermal for shipping and short-life labels. TSC lists continuous, die-cut, black-mark, fan-fold and notched media, 20 to 112 mm wide, for the TE310.

Network and serial ports built in

The TE310 has USB 2.0, Ethernet 10/100, RS-232 and a USB host (for a scanner or PC keyboard) as standard. Dealer options are Bluetooth 5.0, or Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Bluetooth 5.0; MFi Bluetooth 5.0 is a factory option.

Long or short ribbons

It takes 300 m ribbons on a 1-inch core or 110 m ribbons on a 0.5-inch core, 40 to 110 mm wide. Longer ribbons mean fewer changes on a busy desk.

Reads formats from your current printers

TSC's TSPL-EZD firmware on the TE310 is compatible with EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL. Formats from a 203 dpi printer usually print at 300 dpi without a redesign, though smaller, so we size and test one label with you.

Cutter or peeler when you need it

TSC offers a guillotine cutter (full cut and partial cut) and a peel-off module as dealer options, plus an external mount for 214 mm (8.4 in) rolls.

For buyers in India

Using the TE310 in India

These are the points buyers in India ask us about the TE310. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.

Small MRP and batch text that lasts

With a ribbon the TE310 prints MRP, batch and date lines at 12 dots/mm, which helps where they must fit on a small label and stay readable. Ask us to set up those lines in your label format and print test labels on your roll and ribbon.

Small QR codes on product labels

At 300 dpi the TE310 prints QR and Data Matrix codes at smaller sizes than a 203 dpi printer can. Ask us to set the code size in your label format, and scan a test label on your roll before you order rolls in bulk.

Keep it below 40 °C

TSC rates the TE310 to run from 5 °C to 40 °C at 25-85% humidity, non-condensing. Keep it out of direct sun and hot, unventilated stockrooms.

Put it on a UPS at sites with power swings

Input to the TE310's external supply is AC 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz; output to the printer is DC 24 V, 2.5 A (60 W). A UPS or stabiliser keeps it printing where the mains is unsteady.

Exploring for a different use?

If your job differs from what the TE310 is built for, these TSC models may fit it better:

  • Buyers who print mostly shipping, shelf and warehouse labels and want more speed, often look at the TSC TE210 (203 dpi, up to 6 ips, same body, ribbons and ports).
  • Buyers who print 300 dpi labels without a ribbon, over USB, often look at the TSC DA310 (direct thermal only; USB 2.0 with a Bluetooth option).

Questions buyers ask

TE310 FAQ

What is the price of the TSC TE310 in India?

The TE310 price depends on the options you add and the quantity. We can quote the labels and ribbon with it. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.

TE310 or TE210: which should we choose?

They are the same printer at two resolutions. The TE310 prints at 300 dpi, up to 127 mm/s (5 ips) and up to 105.7 mm wide. The TE210 prints at 203 dpi, up to 152.4 mm/s (6 ips) and up to 108 mm wide. Choose the TE310 for small text and small QR or Data Matrix codes; choose the TE210 for shipping, shelf and warehouse labels.

We use a TSC TTP-244 Pro. Is the TE310 a replacement?

TSC India lists the last sale of the TTP-244 Pro on 31 December 2026, with support to 31 December 2031, and names the TE200 Series as its replacement. The TTP-244 Pro prints at 203 dpi, so the TE210 is the like-for-like model; choose the TE310 if you also want 300 dpi for smaller text and codes. Send us a label your TTP-244 Pro prints today when you ask for a quote.

TE310 or DA310: do we need a ribbon?

The TE310 prints either way: thermal transfer with a ribbon, or direct thermal without one. Use direct thermal for shipping and short-life labels, and thermal transfer for labels that must last. The DA310 prints direct thermal only at 300 dpi and connects over USB, with Bluetooth as an option.

Can the TE310 print over our network or Wi-Fi?

On a wired network, yes: Ethernet 10/100 comes standard, alongside USB 2.0, RS-232 and USB host. Wi-Fi needs TSC's 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0 combo module, a dealer option, so include it in the same quotation.

Which labels and ribbons does the TE310 take?

Labels 20 to 112 mm wide and 0.06 to 0.19 mm thick, on rolls up to 127 mm (5 in) across with 25.4 to 38 mm cores, or fan-folded. Ribbons: 40 to 110 mm wide, 300 m on a 1-inch core or 110 m on a 0.5-inch core, ink coated outside. Include your label and ribbon sizes in the quote request.

Will our existing label formats work on the TE310?

In most cases, yes. The TE310's TSPL-EZD firmware is compatible with EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL, so formats from many existing desktop printers need no redesign. A format made at 203 dpi comes out smaller at 300 dpi: tell us which software prints your labels, and print one test label before a rollout.

Can Allmark install the TE310 and connect it to our software?

Yes. We install the TE310 at your site, connect it so your ERP, warehouse or billing software prints to it (our own warehouse management system included) and train the people who use it. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
