Why the HR3000-BT
The HR3000-BT is Newland's general-purpose cordless 2D scanner, listed under this name on Newland's India and Asia site. Newland sells the same scanner in Europe as the HR33 Marlin. It works with a cradle that serves as the charging and Bluetooth base.
A 1280 × 800 pixel sensor with a laser aimer reads 1D codes and 2D codes such as QR, Data Matrix and PDF417, from 3 mil, including high-density and distorted codes on paper or on a screen.
Bluetooth 5.0 with a stated range of 100 m in open air, in direct line of sight. Synchronous, asynchronous and batch modes let staff keep scanning when they go out of range.
Batch mode holds at least 15,000 Code 128 codes of 20 bytes each and uploads them when the scanner is back in range.
The 2,600 mAh battery is replaceable and rated for 15 hours of continuous use at one scan every 6 seconds. Newland offers spare batteries and a 4-slot battery charging cradle.
IP52 sealing, 1.5 m drop rating for the scanner (1.2 m for the cradle), and an operating range of -10 °C to 50 °C.
The cradle connects by USB-A as a keyboard (USB-KBW), a virtual COM port (USB-CDC) or HID-POS. Settings are configured with Newland's EasySet, and Newland provides JPOS and OPOS drivers for point-of-sale software.

For buyers in India
These are the points buyers in India ask us about the HR3000-BT. Mention the ones that apply to you when you request a quote.
With the HR3000-BT a cashier can scan a heavy sack or a carton still in the trolley from about half a metre, without lifting it onto the counter. Newland rates it to read a 13 mil EAN-13 from 40 mm to 535 mm. GS1 India issues the EAN-13 product barcodes that start with 890.
Hold the HR3000-BT roughly 15 cm above a GST e-invoice so the whole IRN QR code fits in its 30° vertical view. The scanner can also read the text in a UPI QR, for example to check a printed QR, but the payment itself happens in the customer's UPI app.
The HR3000-BT reads codes down to 3 mil at 15% symbol contrast, which matters for small, faint codes on medicine strips and cartons. It lists QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, GS1-128 and GS1 DataBar, and a 10 mil Data Matrix reads from 30 mm to 245 mm.
One HR3000-BT charge covers a 12-hour store day at Newland's rated pace; charge it overnight or swap in the optional spare. The 15-hour battery rating assumes one scan every 6 seconds: 15 × 3,600 ÷ 6 = 9,000 scans a charge. At that pace a 12-hour store day would be 7,200 scans. A full recharge takes 6 hours. If staff take the scanner beyond its 100 m open-air range, for example to a back godown, batch mode keeps at least 15,000 scans, more than the 9,000 a charge gives at that pace, and sends them on return.
Charge the HR3000-BT in the shade, away from open shutters and direct sun: the scanner works from -10 °C to 50 °C but charges only from 0 °C to 45 °C. IP52 means dust-protected and safe from drips up to 15° from vertical, not blown monsoon rain. Newland lists a 5 V DC input and quotes the 6-hour charge with a power adapter but gives no AC rating for one, so ask us about the adapter when you order.

Questions buyers ask
The HR3000-BT price depends on the cable or accessories you need and the quantity. Ask our team for today's competitive price: share your requirement and budget, and we will help you choose the right configuration and send a written quotation with current pricing and delivery time.
Both are current Newland cordless 2D scanners. The HR3000-BT has double the stated Bluetooth range (100 m against 50 m), a larger 2,600 mAh replaceable battery against 2,400 mAh, IP52 sealing against IP42, and also reads postal codes and passport OCR. The HR32-BT connects by RS-232 as well as USB, works from -20 °C to 60 °C against -10 °C to 50 °C, charges in 4 hours against 6, and can switch between white and red illumination. Tell us your software, connection and working area when you ask for a quote, and we will suggest the better fit.
Usually, yes. The cradle connects by USB and can act as a keyboard, so scans appear wherever the cursor is, as in most billing and ERP screens. It can also work as a virtual COM port or HID-POS device, and Newland provides JPOS and OPOS drivers. If your system needs RS-232, Newland lists a USB to RS-232 DB9 converter cable; tell us when you ask for a quote. Allmark provides software and ERP integration and on-site setup; name your software when you ask for a quote.
Newland rates the 2,600 mAh battery for 15 hours of continuous operation at one scan every 6 seconds. The battery is replaceable, so staff can fit a charged spare instead of waiting; Newland offers spare batteries and a 4-slot battery charging cradle. A full charge takes about 6 hours with the power adapter.
Newland states a range of up to 100 m in direct line of sight in open air; walls and racking shorten it. In batch mode the scanner stores at least 15,000 Code 128 scans and sends them when it reconnects to the cradle, so scans taken out of range are kept.
It is a general-purpose scanner rated IP52, with 1.5 m drops and operation from -10 °C to 50 °C. That suits shops, stock rooms and most warehouses. For cold rooms, oily shop floors or marked metal parts, ask us about Newland's industrial scanners such as the NVH220 Lophius AI.
Yes. It reads QR Code, which is used on GST e-invoices and UPI payment codes, and it reads the bar codes and QR codes on medicine labels. The scanner sends the code text to your billing software as typed characters or over a virtual COM port. Checking an e-invoice signature or taking a payment is done by the software or the UPI app, not by the scanner.
Yes. We install the HR3000-BT at your site, set it to send data the way your ERP, warehouse or billing software expects (our own warehouse management system included) and train your team. Tell us the software when you ask for a quote, and we include the setup in the quotation.
Send what you scan, where you scan it and the software it feeds; we reply with a written quotation.
